Machine Repair Technician
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities & Authority:

  • Disassemble machinery & equipment to remove parts and make repairs
  • Record parts & materials used and requisition new parts and materials as necessary.
  • Analyze text results, machine error messages, & information obtained from operators
  • Update & maintain maintenance procedures
  • Work well with minimal supervision
  • Have good troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work on ladders and in small spaces that could be hot or cold
  • Ability to work with blueprints, sketches, & machine manuals
  • Ability to follow and promote plant safety rules
  • Any other duties requested of them

Minimum Qualifications & experience required:

  • Experience in general maintenance duties
  • Should be able to read blueprints & manuals
  • Standing & sitting for periods of time
  • Be able to interact well with employees
  • Be well organized
  • Ability to lift 60lbs
  • Reading, writing, and basic math skills
  • Be a team player


CNC Operator
Reports to: Production Supervisor

Responsibilities & Authority:

The position of OPERATOR, at Princeton Tool, shall encompass many job responsibilities  Foremost is safety and quality.

It is the responsibility of every employee, and they have the authority, to shut down a machine or operation that they feel is unsafe to perform or operate or is producing a non-conforming product. Safety and quality concerns are to be reported immediately to the shift leader.

General:

Safety glasses are required to be worn within the facility.  Job may require prolonged periods of standing.  Lifting of parts is not continuous but intermittent. Teamwork is essential for the company to succeed. Ability to communicate and work with co-workers is critical.

The primary means of training will be O.J.T. (on the job training)

Operator responsibilities can be classified into 5 categories:

Machine operation:  Operator will setup, load, unload and verify parts meet customer requirements. Completion of forms and travelers for product traceability purposes is required. Parts may weigh up to 120 pounds and caution is to be used when handling the larger parts. Seek assistance as needed. The average part weighs approx. 25 pounds.

Benching Operation:  Operator will blend in machined surfaces as instructed by use of air grinding tools. Completion of forms and travelers for product traceability purposes is required. Parts may weigh up to 120 pounds and caution is to be used when handling the larger parts. Seek assistance as needed. The average part weighs approx. 25 pounds.

Material Movement:  Operator will transport product to and from our customer via truck, if they are approved by the company’s insurance carrier.  Material delivered to our facility will be unloaded by use of a forklift and moved to an appropriate staging area.

Parts to be machined will be delivered to the machine via forklift, pallet jacks or manual carrying. Completion of forms and travelers for product traceability purposes is required. Parts may weigh up to 120 pounds and caution is to be used when handling the larger parts. Seek assistance as needed.  The average part weighs approx. 25 pounds.

Maintenance of equipment and facility:  Operator will perform general maintenance on equipment as instructed.  i.e changing of filters, fluids, cleaning.   This will be performed under the direction of the shift supervisor or maintenance department.  Maintaining restrooms, break room, emptying of trash, general housekeeping are considered as daily activities and every employees responsibility.

Other Duties: Other duties as required.

  • Ability to read and do basic math
  • Ability to lift 60 lbs
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Be a team player
